Journaling Experiences are a series of activities offered by Artcadia Studio, that allow participants to take part in an immersive activity and to journal about the entire experience. Have you been curious about journaling or are keen to experience journaling about a creative hands-on activity? Mindful art journaling focuses the mind, improves observation skills and fosters well-being. No specific artistic or drawing skills are required to engage in mindful art journaling. To mark Artcadia Studio's launch of Journaling Experiences, we are introducing Journaling Experiences @ PHT as a collaboration opportunity to support other local creative businesses housed in 195 Pearl’s Hill Terrace (PHT), a pre-war colonial building with a 88-year heritage that was once used as the Singapore Police HQ, and now transformed into a creative arts enclave. --- Journaling Experiences @ PHT: Metal Stamping Facilitated by Steph T (@stephtcreates), this workshop provides an opportunity for participants to experience journaling about a hands-on metal stamping activity conducted by Junie Lim, founder of Clink Clank Clunk. Participants will get to use metal stamping to design and decorate their own 25mm or a 40mm pendant, which will be assembled into a customised keychain, bracelet, or necklace (choose one accessory) which can be brought home. Participants will be given a MD Japan notebook and a Sakura Pigma Micron pen to journal and draw. Other sharing art materials provided during the session include colour pens, brush pens, brush markers, colour pencils, watercolour paint, highlighters, stickers, post-it notes and washi tapes. Please note that: - The workshop fee is inclusive of one MD Japan notebook, one Sakura Japan Pigma Micron Pen, and one stamped metal accessory. - This workshop is capped at six participants per session. - Location is accessible by stairs only*. * We will start this workshop with an introduction session at Artcadia Studio (PHT level 3), bring participants to take part in the metal stamping activity (PHT level 1), before inviting participants back to Artcadia Studio to engage in mindful art journaling.
