Essentials of Bullet Journaling

120-min Workshop (inclusive of MD Japan A5 Clear Cover Dotted Notebook and Sakura Pigma Micron Pen)

Service Description

Bullet journaling (BuJo) is known for its ability to help people organise their thoughts and keep track of their goals and tasks. Join Steph T (@stephtcreates) in an introductory BuJo workshop, where she will take you through the basics of how to BuJo, as a way to bring productivity, creativity and mindfulness into journaling. Given the popularity of BuJo, have you wondered what BuJo is or attempted to BuJo, but felt intimidated or confused by the different components used in a BuJo? For those new to BuJo, Ryder Carroll invented BuJo, a journaling system which allows users to leverage a clear structure, to build freely on blank pages of their journals. Since launching this project through Kickstarter in 2014, his invention has been popularised globally – many users around the world have been producing and exploring new layouts used as tools in their journals to help make the BuJo system more customised and effective for personal use. In this 2-hour workshop, learn all about the different components that are used in a BuJo, after which you will plan your very own layout. You will get to understand, learn and experience: • Concept of bullet journaling • Lifestyle Journaling • Creative presentation • Suitable tools and materials • Fixing of mistakes • Sample layouts for inspirations • Journaling prompts • Sustainable journaling • Hands-on-session to plan your BuJo layout This workshop is open to the general public (aged 16 and above) with no experience in BuJo, and who would like to inject productivity, creativity and mindfulness into their routines. All participants will have access to shared art materials that they can use during the hands-on workshop activities. Each participant will bring home a MD Japan A5 Clear Cover Dot Grid Notebook with their name hand-lettered by Steph T (@stephtcreates) and one Sakura Pigma Micron Pen, that will help you embark on your BuJo journey. Participants can email artcadia.studio@gmail.com with your booking confirmation if you wish to top up $40 for a Black Leuchtturm1917 A5 Hard Cover Dotted Notebook (pre-order at least 7 days before workshop) instead. To support you in your BuJo journey, participants would be welcomed into our BuJo alumni community upon completion of this Essentials of BuJo workshop. As our alumni, you would be added to our alumni Telegram channel, where you can look forward to receiving exclusive alumni gathering invitations for journaling jams and discounts for future workshops.
