Join Steph T (@stephtcreates) in an introductory BuJo workshop, where she will take you through the basics of how to BuJo, as a way to bring mindfulness, productivity and creativity into journaling. Given the popularity of BuJo, have you wondered what BuJo is or attempted to BuJo, but felt intimidated or confused by the different components used in a BuJo? For those new to BuJo, Ryder Carroll invented BuJo, a journaling system which allows users to leverage a clear structure, to build freely on blank pages of their journals. Since launching this project through Kickstarter in 2014, his invention has been popularised globally – many users around the world have been producing and exploring new layouts used as tools in their journals to help make the BuJo system more customised and effective for personal use. In this workshop, learn all about the different components that are used in a BuJo, after which you will plan your very own layout. You will get to understand, learn and experience: • Concept of BuJo • Lifestyle journaling • Creative presentation • Suitable tools and materials • Fixing of mistakes • Sample layouts for inspiration • Journaling prompts • Sustainable journaling • Hands-on session to plan your BuJo layout This workshop is open to the general public (aged 16 and above) with no experience in BuJo, and who would like to inject mindfulness, productivity and creativity into their routines. All participants will have access to sharing art materials during the hands-on workshop activities. Each participant will take home a Black Leuchtturm1917 A5 Hard Cover Dotted Notebook (other colours are subject to availability, worth $42.90) with a Sakura Manga Set (Five Pigma Pens and a Gelly Roll White Gel Pen, worth $15.80), that will help you embark on your BuJo journey. To support you in your BuJo journey, participants would be welcomed into our BuJo alumni community upon completion of this Essentials of BuJo workshop.
